I rented a surf board at Guichosurfshop for half a day. The price was reasonable, 20 Euros for 4 hours which is much cheaper than the other surf rentals at Guincho beach. As I only took my shorty and the ocean was quite cold, 17 degrees Celsius in the middle of August, I also rented a suit (5 Euros) which was in good condition.The two guys in charge of the rental were sympathetic and helpful. They asked me what was my surfing experience and recommended a suitable board. I finally chose a soft board as our daughter wanted to try surfing, but the guy insisted that I could come anytime and change the board if I wanted to use a better one for myself. I don't know about their surfing courses, but the rental service was very satisfying :)
Such a great guy helped me and my girlfriend a few days ago. He was really caring about us and gave great service to us. Thank you so much!
